- I preordered this book because I was flying abroad on the day that it reached the shelf in form. at the airports that I passed through I kept checking for the book to come in....
24 hours later - what a ride!
For some unknown reason I was under the impression that this was the last book in the series, all of which I have eagerly waited for. NOW Mr. Evans what have you done to me? November 2017? Ithink I will die of impatience!
Seriously, this is even better written than than the last one. PME keeps up the tension till it is bouncing off the computer screen. I collected the books and read 3,4, 5 one after the other knowing that after I finished 5 I would only have a month to wait for 6.
I am aware that these book are for young adults but 20 years ago when Paul Michael Evans was still on the shelf in our bookshops and I did not read electronic I became a fan of his books. I suspect that I am his only reader in Israel (my home). I used to order books (I have them all) and now read them on but that does not detract from my enjoyment and excitement when reading this very highly recommended continuation of one of the best adventure series available, for any age - I am nearly 70. - I love this series! I have been loyal to it from the beginning. I give it a 5 star because of that, and it was very well written, but to Richard Paul Evens, he really knows how to wrip someone's heart out and brake it into a million pieces. So I definitely recommend this book, but if you are as attached to this series as I am, prepare yourself for a rush of emotions.

Richard Paul Evans' riveting storytelling is the best!! This is a must read for teens and adults as are all the other books in the series. Zappy Reading! - No!!! I cannot wait until this fall for the last book. Oh my goodness, I need to read it right now. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait. This book and this series are very good. I loved it!
- My daughter (12) can't get enough of this series. And we can't get enough of her quoting this series...oh wait, that's not true. Seriously though, great, clean, engaging content full of thrilling adventure and important life lessons. Fabulous character development. Only complaint is that I wish we would have found this series after all the books were out. She's been getting one a year for the past few years (as soon as a new one comes out) and it's rough waiting for the new book! Of course, it means that she rereads the whole series each time...literally on her 6th time through I think!
- Teen fiction with an interesting twist. Most of the kids in the group (The Electro Clam) have one or more extra power based on electricity. One can feel another's emotions, if touching the person; one can shock a person or small group; a third can see electricity through walls. The book is an easy read, as well as interesting as they face difficult challenges on their path to finding out how they became electric to begin with. There will be 7 total books, and I have looked forward to them coming out each year. The next book will be the last, and I can't wait to see how Evens explains how the children became electric in the first place..

- Evans is a very good writer, and he did not dissapoint with his latest Vey book. This book was filled With emotions of different kinds, and action. We got to read from different perspectives, something I usually don't like, but Evans managed to pull it off nicely. I expected this to be the last book in the series. Thanks God it isn't. There will be a 7th book! I need it this instant, but I will try to survive.
